The strength of the bouncing ball exercise lies in a couple of physical attributes: namely you have to calculate the ball going across the screen, the way the force recedes with each bounce and how the hang time gradually recedes with it. I suggest trying it again with the following height chart for each hanging moment:
8 - 4 - 2 - 1 - 0.5 - 0.25 - 0.125 - roll
Space and time accordingly.
